Philosophy Statement

At St. Joseph School we believe that as a faith community, centered in prayer and focused on the gospel values, it is our commitment to challenge our students to be in service to others. 

We partner with parents, who are the primary educators, in the spiritual formation of our students. 

We believe that our students are unique individuals with a variety of talents and skills and we seek to inspire each student to realize their potential.

We believe that we empower our students to strive for academic excellence and to be responsible for their own learning, accountable as citizens and faithful as disciples of Christ.  

Mission Statement

St. Joseph School is a K-8 Catholic school committed to making quality Catholic education available and affordable to the community of Santa Ana. St. Joseph School recognizes parents as the primary educators of their children and partners with our parents to nurture each child’s spiritual, intellectual, social and physical growth. St. Joseph School promotes frequent participation in the sacramental life of the Church and fosters a safe environment where learning can flourish.
